Norseman Road . This is the main arts centre in town with changing exhibitions. Walk up the steps to the start of the ‘wind garden’ at the back of the gallery and view the bay from the lookout.

6 Woods street. Experience Australia’s only specialist fish and shark leather tannery.  DVD presentation of how Mermaid turns raw fish skins into unique leather. Entry is free.

Adventureland Park
(5 mins drive from Pine Grove Holiday Park)
Located on the Esplanade, next to the Taylor St Jetty. The Park features a climbing whale, maze, fenced playground, mini steam train.

Skate Park
With ramps is located along the Esplanade next to Advenureland Park

Esperance Mini Golf
Located on the Esplanade near the Adventureland Park. Jolly Jalopy's are available for hire also.

Twilight Beach (5 mins from Pine Grove Holiday Park)

National Parks

Fitzgerald River National Park (approx 3 hours drive from Pine Grove Holiday Park)
One of the last great wilderness areas of the South – heaven for birdwatchers, whale watching, walking and drinks at sunset.

Stokes National Park (60 mins drive from Pine Grove Holiday Park)
One of the most picturesque and interesting estuaries along WA’s southern coast, a great place for bird watching, fishing, canoeing and walking.

Cape Le Grand National Park  - (50 mins drive from Pine Grove Holiday Park)
 
Popular features in the park include attractive bays with wide sandy beaches set between rocky headlands. Walking, camping, boating, picnicking, sightseeing, nature study, swimming, photography, fishing, sandy beaches, rocky headlands, granite peaks, bays.

Cape Arid National Park (1:30 min drive from Pine Grove Holiday Park)
Magnificent granite headlands, crystal clear waters and sparkling white sands. Bushwalking, camping, bird watching, whale watching, picnicking, photography, four-wheel-driving, fishing.


Recherche Archipelago (Bay of Isles)

Nearly 100 untouched islands off the coast of Esperance. Wildlife including sea eagles and colonies of sea lions and fur seals which come here to breed.


From land, the bay is one of Australia’s most beautiful seascapes.


Wildflowers



Kepwari Wetland Walk Trail  (5 min from Pine Grove Holiday Park)
(turn into Windabout Way off Fisheries Road), one-way walking trail is 3.6km.

Monjingup Lake Reserve (15 mins from Pine Grove Holiday Park)
Walk trails, BBQ and picnic facilities, Telegraph Rd 14kms from Esperance off the South Coast Highway.  Also a great spot for bird watching.

Helms Arboretum (15 mins from Pine Grove Holiday Park)
On Coolgardie/Esperance Highway.  Large expanses of natural bushland are accessible by gravel roads.  There are also hundreds of named plantations containing Western Australian trees plus Australian species from other states as well as some exotic pine species.
